Designing a Space

Designing a Space:

It is a space with ‘ideal’ condition of lighting, ventilation or heating, and most important, it has an ‘ideal form'.

That presents perhaps an ‘organic shape’! With some sustainable and ecological properties

As we have to present at the end of this first year, an artifact and sketches to present our design proses.

I am sketching now different shapes (see Sketchbook), inspired by different pictures of architect Zaha Hadid,  also by older ones from Egyptian organic architect Hassan Fathey! which where first I got the valut insperation.

I like the concept of the 'Vault' to start with, which has ventilation and light openings on its higher sides! I like the vault as it have smooth organic shape, than also can be manipulated with with slight bends,

The Vault design is so fixable, and  should be applicable anywhere in the world.
it could have different functions! so even can be used as a pavilion!

For that reason,
I'm at this moment considering the vault to my 'organic space design', no matter where it is! there is always  the accessibility to close or open the light & ventilation openings when not in need.
